I recently completed the newest piece in the Walking Trail collection entitled Grace. As a young child, my grandmother would often share a story with us. In the 1930's, a small suburban Philadelphia theater was hosting an amateur night. She was called up on stage and asked to sing her favorite song. She was wearing a long flowing dress and chose to sing The Lady in Red. Little did she know, a man watching in the audience was so enamored that he expressed to his friends that he would marry her. The man was my grandfather, and after a short courtship, they married. This piece of jewelry is created to honor both the moment of their special meeting and the woman who shared her grace and kindness abundantly.
